Our first ever distillery refill service
And our first ever Lab Takeback service!
Every year we celebrate our gin birthday on the first weekend of December with a little (but mighty) tradition called Four Pillars of the Community. It’s our way of showing support for organisations that are doing really important work within our communities in areas we’re super passionate about.
In short, the profits made in our gin homes – from every bottle of gin sold, to every G&T enjoyed – on Saturday 3 December and Sunday 4 December will be donated to our chosen 2022 Four Pillars of the Community charities.
And this year we’re adding one more piece to the puzzle which we think (hope!) you’re going to like: OUR FIRST EVER REFILL SERVICE AT THE DISTILLERY! AND OUR FIRST EVER TAKEBACK SERVICE AT THE LAB!
We’ve been wanting to trial a takeback service for a long time now because reducing glass waste is big priority for us. We’re pumped to see how this test run goes and (fingers crossed) we might be able to continue it down the track.
So how will it work?
AT OUR HEALESVILLE DISTILLERY
From 11am – 3pm on Saturday 3 December and Sunday 4 December, we’ll be accepting any empty 700mL Four Pillars Gin bottles, and refilling them with either our Rare Dry Gin or Bloody Shiraz Gin.
How much will my refill cost?
We’re throwing in a $10 discount for all refills, so it’s $68 for a bottle of Rare Dry Gin and $78 for a bottle of Bloody Shiraz Gin.
AT OUR SYDNEY LABORATORY
Our Surry Hills Gin Lab will also be taking back any empty 700mL Four Pillars Gin bottles over Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December. And in return for your empty, you’ll get $10 off any gin purchase, including this year’s Australian Christmas Gin!
All of the bottles returned over the weekend will go get a second life as the vessel that stores and pours our pre-batched cocktails at events. Reducing glass waste AND drinking a cocktail while you do it? Sign us up.
