WorldPride at the (Fab) Lab

Drink specials, DJs, drag queens and gin-fuelled fun!

WorldPride 2023 is coming to Sydney this February, so we’re pulling out all the glitter, disco balls and good times to put on one heck of a celebration at the FAB LAB!

We’ve got everything from gin drink specials to DJ sets, and gin workshops to ginny giveaways. And as is tradition, we’ll be bottling up our favourite cocktail from the menu and selling it in the Gin Shop from 17 February to 5 March (or until it sells out).

This year’s delicious creation goes by the name of Gaytime and is made with Barrel Aged Gin, Golden Gaytime (obvs), Marionette Nocino and fig leaf.

We’ll also be donating a portion of every bottle sold and every Gaytime cocktail served at the bar toward Queer Screen, an organisation dedicated to showcasing and supporting queer filmmakers and other artists who address diverse sexualities and gender identities to reach audiences.

THE NIGHT OF NIGHTS

WorldPride kicks off on Friday 17 February, and to celebrate we’re launching a very special drinks menu featuring all the flavours of the rainbow. Then, come Saturday 18 February, the real celebrations begin. Step into the disco-balled bar and sip on a Skinny Dip, made with Fresh Yuzu Gin, whole lime and ginger, all while enjoying the sweet sounds spun by the DJs onsite.

We’ve got a few surprises up our sleeves for the night too, complete with a ginny dessert (made in collaboration with some legends in the Sydney food scene), a special guest appearance and some delicious ginny freebies. To find out what you’re in for, you’ll just have to come along!

FAB LAB GIN WORKSHOPS

SATURDAY 18 FEBRUARY & 25 FEBRUARY

Hosted by the Four Pillars team, you’ll be treated to one of our special edition cocktails on arrival. After you’ve settled in, we’ll guide you through a tasting of three of our favourite gins, including a sneak peek at our brand-new Afloat Pink Gin. Once you’ve finished your tasting, you can grab any full bottle of gin from the Gin Shop with a nice little $25 discount. Not bad.
