Eight Melbourne hotspots to try a Fresh Yuzu Gin cocktail

Spring has well and truly sprung. Which seems as good a reason as any to enjoy a delicious Fresh Yuzu Gin drink…
The days are getting longer, the temperature’s getting warmer and silly season is just around the corner…
So in the name of all things spring, we’ve teamed up with some of our favourite bars and restaurants across Melbourne to launch some epic pop-up Fresh Yuzu Gin cocktail menus and a few exciting food offerings to boot.

ROBATA
For starters, we’ve got a special cocktail and gin eats menu running at Japanese restaurant, Robata. Thanks to the brilliant minds of their bar team, you can expect drinks like the Yuzutini, made with elderflower liqueur, yuzushu and lime. And for the food? Think chargrilled kingfish with edamame verde and Fresh Yuzu Gin puree.

YUGEN
Gin cocktails and gin-infused desserts are on the menu at Yugen Tea Bar. Our pick of the bunch is the Yayoi, which blends our Fresh Yuzu Gin with cumquat and Japanese green tea Karigane. And for dessert, we’re all about the yuzu tart special, made with malted milk, vanilla, and a special Fresh Yuzu Gin marmalade.
Head downstairs to Yugen Dining for even more Fresh Yuzu Gin cocktails, with goodies including the Seiki, a mix of Fresh Yuzu Gin, Amaro Montenegro and green chartreuse.

PAR MELBOURNE
Not one but SIX cocktails are on offer in Fitzroy’s Neo cocktail bar, PAR, and for $65 you can try a half-serve of the whole flight. Drinks include a fusion of Fresh Yuzu Gin and ingredients like muscat, mead, and spiced pineapple.

New Gold Mountain
Sit under the neon yellow lights at New Gold Mountain and sip on a Beni Hoppe, made with Fresh Yuzu Gin, Maidenii Dry vermouth, and strawberry and cardamom shrub. Or if you’re taking a break from the drink, opt for the No Thyme to Waste which blends our Bandwagon Dry with Lyre’s Italian Spritz & blackberry and thyme shrub.

DESSERTOPIA
For the ultimate yuzu cocktail and dessert combo, you’d better head to Dessertopia where we’re serving up Yuzu Gimlets, made with elderflower liqueur and lime alongside a special Fresh Yuzu Gin sorbet.
And on Thursday 14 September, our very own Brand Ambassador Bec Lam will be popping in from 6pm to host a special cocktails, cakes and neon lights event, showcasing an epic fusion of drinks and desserts.

THE SALTED EGG & THE Q – QUINCY HOTEL
And for the cherry (yuzu?) on top of our Fresh Yuzu Gin takeovers, we’ve stopped into not one but two of The Quincy Hotel’s venues, The Salted Egg and The Q.
The Salted Egg Executive Chef, Adam Woodfield has put together an incredible set menu for $75, featuring dishes like grilled lemongrass pork with saw-tooth coriander, peanuts & nahm jim jeaw. Pair it with a $15 Fresh Yuzu Mojito, made with Fresh Yuzu Gin, mint, lime and butterfly pea, and that’s one fancy night out!
