Bloody Shiraz Gin & Tonic
In October 2021 we decided it was time to pay homage to one often underappreciated Aussie invention – the humble ready-to-drink can. Despite how easy they are to serve and drink, they’re not as easy to make. You need to nail both the gin and the tonic, and their ratios, especially if you want a drink that is flavour-packed but still sits at one standard drink like we did. Low and behold, Cam nailed the brief and our Rare Dry Gin & Tonic can was created.
And then a few months ago we decided it was time we added some more gin tins to the family. Up next were our Bloody Shiraz and Fresh Yuzu Gin. Bloody Shiraz Gin is a naturally sweet and totally delicious purple liquid which is only made better by a good splash of tonic and big squeeze of lemon. So that’s exactly what we’ve put into our purple can. A hyper-concentrated Bloody Shiraz Gin mixed with bespoke tonic and a healthy dash of lemon to cut through that natural Shiraz sweetness.
Our Fresh Yuzu Gin & Soda is our first can to use soda instead of tonic, which means lower calories but in no way less flavour. Like we did with our Rare Dry Gin RTD, we’ve upped the botanical load of Fresh Yuzu Gin to make sure those bright, aromatic and distinctly citrus notes are still coming through, even with a lower ABV.
The extra yuzu in the gin distillation also means your drink is essentially already garnished so all that’s left for you to do is crack it open and enjoy.
