When it comes to making gin with colour, at Four Pillars, purple has always been our jam. Back in 2015 we made our first batch of Bloody Shiraz Gin, and we’ve been pretty chuffed with the taste, colour and response to the all-natural purple ginny goodness. So while others were off creating pink, orange and blue gins, we sat very happily in our purple gin lane.
But then, three years ago, we got chatting with our friend’s at Melbourne’s Arbory Bar & Restaurant and we agreed that if we were going to make an exclusive gin with them it had to be something fun, summery and maybe, just maybe, pink.
Then it was over to Cam to do the hard work and distill a gin that was (extremely) tasty, great in a G&T or a Gin Spritz and if it was going to be pink, it had to be naturally pink. And each year for the last three years Cam has more than delivered.

In line with Arbory Afloat’s theme, this year’s release is inspired by the Turquoise Coast of Turkey. And we’ve decided it’s so good we need to share it with the whole of Australia.
To create this Turkish-inspired summer gin, Cam played with pineapple sage for those tropical characters and cumquat, orange and finger limes for that rounded citrus note. To finish it off, a touch of rosewater was added giving the gin a light floral aromatic.
So there you have it, it’s an Aegean Sea sunset in a bottle that will delight both your tastebuds AND your bar cart.
