Five Halloween Gin Cocktail Recipes

Halloween is the best (and most ridiculous) holiday of the year because it gives you the perfect excuse to drink cocktails that look like human blood.
With that said, here are five Bloody Shiraz Gin cocktail recipes we think would make for a (bloody) good time, whether you’re on Halloween party hosting duties or just looking for a cocktail to celebrate the spooky season.
Now all that’s left to do is stock up on fake cobwebs and curate your scary playlist. Thriller, anyone?

HALLOWEEN PUNCH
INGREDIENTS
METHOD
- Add gin, pomegranate juice and prosecco to a punch bowl with ice
- Garnish with lemon wheels, orange slices and fresh rosemary sprigs

BLOODY SHIRAZ GHOUL
INGREDIENTS
METHOD
- Squeeze lime juice, reserving the hull
- Shake gin and lime juice over ice, then strain into a highball glass
- Add ginger beer, ice and garnish with the lime hull

WHO SHOT TOM COLLINS?
INGREDIENTS
- 30mL Modern Australian Gin
- 100mL old-fashioned lemonade
- 15mL Bloody Shiraz Gin
- Lemon
METHOD
- Mix gin and lemonade in a highball over ice
- Squeeze in two wedges of lemon
- Float Bloody Shiraz Gin on top

BLOODY HOT NEGRONI
INGREDIENTS
- 30mL Bloody Shiraz Gin
- 30mL Maidenii Sweet Vermouth
- 30mL Campari
- 30mL orange juice
- 80mL spiced tea
- Slice of orange with cloves pierced in
SPICED TEA – MAKES FIVE SERVES
- 2 cardamom pods
- 3cm fresh ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 anise star
- 3 cloves
- 400mL boiling water
- 1 black tea bag
METHOD
- To make spiced tea, lightly toast the cardamom, ginger, cinnamon stick, anise star and cloves in a pot until fragrant
- Add boiling water and simmer for four minutes
- Add in black tea bag and steep for one minute
- Mix in 80mL spiced tea with gin, vermouth, Campari and orange juice
- Garnish with your clove-pressed orange slice

INGREDIENTS
- 45mL Bloody Shiraz Gin
- Ice

- Build gin over ice in a rocks glass
- Sip on that sweet, ginny goodness
